Hooded Falcon

Do not be deceived by the term 'hooded' and the soft cloth images that might spring to mind from using the word hood.
The hood is more of a shell or casing that fits snugly and completely over the eyes of the bird of prey.

Raptor research with Peter Hurst - Falconry Southeast

During this week of development for 'Hawk', actors in the company spent a morning at Quex Park Estate with falconer Peter Hurst. https://www.facebook.com/falconry.southeast.Kent/
Pete gave us lots of insights into hawk training and also let us just spend time observing the birds of prey. It was a valuable morning of research which fed into rehearsals that afternoon.
